JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Responsibilities & Skills:
• Install, set-up, configure, and maintain network software, hardware, and components including workstations, communication lines, cabling, and equipment according to the overall objectives of PHCC.
• Adhere to PHCC’s procedures and guidelines for design, selection, implementation and maintenance of network components as well as change management process.
• Properly administer network software, hardware, and components and ensure the availability of the network infrastructure.
• Control network devices/components and coordinate network access and use.
• Back-up network software, hardware, components configuration files and logs on a regular basis, according to the PHCC’s Information Technology policies and procedures, standards, and guidelines.
• Implement preventive measures to block any unauthorized access to PHCC Networks.
• Conduct and diagnose periodic security health checks to identify any possible network or security threats.
• Monitor network equipment for outages, traffic problems and service levels, and provide problem resolution when needed.
• Analyze equipment performance records to determine the need for repair, replacement or enhancement.
• Anticipate potential networking problems and implement preventive measures.
• Perform routine network component startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records.
• Maintain equipment or coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure high availability and service levels.
• Maintain logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair records.
• Maintain current documentation including logical and physical network designs and layout diagrams.
• Manage small to medium sized projects according to agree upon budgets and schedules.
• The incumbent will undertake any such related duties or responsibilities as directed.
• Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard sensitive information.
• Maintain and manage monthly baseline of documented procedures.
• Managing and Configuring Nexus OS (7K,5K) ,VPC, Fabric Path …. etc.
• Managing and configuring SolarWinds and Cisco Prime Monitoring Software
• Managing and configuring Cisco WLC controllers
• Managing and Configuring Cisco ASR Routers and core Switches
• Managing and Configuring Cisco Call Manager
• Manage and Maintain with Cisco Voice Technology
• Experienced with Proxy and Filtering Devices such as WSA, Bluecoat
• Experienced with Wireless Technology
Required Technical Qualifications: • A Bachelor degree in IT or equivalent.
• ITILV3 Certified.
• Cisco Certified CCNP routing and Switching, CCNP Wireless, CCNP Collaboration
• CCNP Datacenter
• Minimum of 7 years in the field of IT networks.
• Experienced to manage Tier 3 or higher Data Center Networks
